NeuroFlow's Severity Score uses advanced data science for patient risk stratification.
The Severity Score provides clinicians with a helpful metric representing the mental health of individuals.
What Is a Severity Score?
A summary statistic that helps to quickly answer important questions such as: How is an individual doing? How is their mental wellness changing? Do they need my immediate attention?
The NeuroFlow severity score combines various factors relating to the mental health of an individual such as PHQ9 and GAD7 scores, mood and sleep ratings, NLP from journal entries and more. We’ll continue to add variables and data sources to the score to assist with risk stratification efforts that will help to proactively identify and support the most At Risk individuals.
Customers are able to see the above rough breakdown in the NeuroFlow Monthly Review.
There are 5 possible scores:

Where Can I Find a Severity Score?
The severity score will first appear in an individual's monthly review - the PDF summary of an individual's progress. In the “PATIENT AT A GLANCE” section, you’ll see several new metrics including:
• Severity Rating: A categorical value representing the severity of the individual (e.g. Moderately Severe)
• Change since last month: A percentage indicating the change of the individual's severity score from the previous month e.g. 60% increase in severity
• Compared to all NeuroFlow users: A comparison of the individual's severity score to all other individuals that are using NeuroFlow. e.g. top 85% severity
• Compared to all users in your organization: A comparison of the individual's severity score to all other individuals associated with your particular organization that is using NeuroFlow. e.g. top 85% severity

What Should I Do With a Severity Score?
This score is meant to indicate which individuals need the most attention beyond simply their questionnaire scores. Factors that may impact a severity score include suspected suicidal ideation and whether the individual is in therapy. We recommend that all severe individuals be referred to a therapist, which will decrease their severity the following month.
