We’ve made a number of updates to improve the way we support primary clinical Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) workflows through our registry. CoCM capabilities are now available for organizations using NeuroFlow's Psychiatric Collaborative Care solution. This update is focused on three key components of CoCM: documentation, time tracking, and billing.
Documentation:
We have added new relevant note types for documentation, which include:
- Milestone events
- Patient-added notes from trackers
- Treatment plans
An associated number of minutes can be added to each note for ease of tracking.
All notes now include labels for the month in which they were added.
Milestone Events
- Milestone events will be replacing annotation functionality. Annotations have been removed from NeuroFlow, and you can now access notes from the ‘+’ in the Client Dashboard
Steps to Access:
-
-
In the Care Team Dashboard:
- Click the checkbox next to a patient’s name > click More > then click Notes
-
From the Client Profile:
- Click Actions > then click Notes
- Click the salmon-colored “+” on the right side of the page when you scroll down
-
In the Care Team Dashboard:
Patient Added Trackers
- Any notes added by patient when rating mood or sleep will now be shown in the Client Dashboard
- Any tags added to trackers will also be included in Notes
- A toggle is available to turn tracker notes 'On' (the default display option is ‘Off’)
Treatment Plan
- A default CoCM template has been added to Notes
Monthly Reviews
New functionality enables you to pull documentation from notes as well as total billable time into the Monthly Review. See this article for more information on how to access Monthly Reviews.
Care Team Notes

- Includes Time Tracking and the user who created the note
Retroactive Review

Time Tracking
Notes now come with time tracking! For patients enrolled in CoCM, you’ll now be able to add time (in minutes) for any notes.
New note types and updated comments on Monthly Reviews are available today to everyone using NeuroFlow. The new time tracking feature is being released at the end of Q3 as a phased rollout. Please contact support@neuroflow.com for more information on your rollout date and when you can expect to see this feature.
