🚀 Major Features & Enhancements
Enhanced Billing & Revenue Management
Multiple Billing Codes in Billing Eligibility File: Enhanced Monthly Review billing capabilities now support multiple instances of the same billing code within a single eligibility report. When multiple units of the same billing code are entered during Monthly Review generation, all instances now appear comma separated in the Billing Eligibility Report, ensuring accurate billing documentation and revenue capture for extended care sessions.
Enhanced CPT 99494 Billing Capacity: Monthly Review workflow now supports up to 4 units of CPT code 99494 (Initial or subsequent psychiatric collaborative care management, first 60 minutes in a calendar month), aligning with the October 2024 CMS Maximum Unit Edits (MUE) increase from 2 to 4 units. This enhancement enables Behavioral Health Managers to accurately document and bill for extended collaborative care sessions, maximizing revenue capture potential by up to 100% for qualifying patients.
FQHC/RHC Billing Code Support: New G0511 and G0512 billing codes are now available for Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) to properly track Community Health Integration services. These codes include the same on/off toggle functionality as existing CPT codes and can be added during Monthly Review generation. This enhancement eliminates the need for FQHC workaround codes (99492/99493) and supports proper billing workflows for FQHC market expansion.
Improved Clinical Workflow Efficiency
Quicker Assessment Review: Enhanced assessment navigation now provides direct access to individual assessment responses from the "Past 30 Days" tab. Clinicians can now immediately view detailed assessment responses (PHQ-9, GAD-7, WHOQOL) without the additional navigation step to the Activity Tab, reducing friction when reviewing multiple assessments per patient before appointments. This streamlined workflow improves clinical efficiency for patient preparation and care planning.
Bulk Provider Assignment: New bulk patient management capabilities enable care managers to assign or reassign Prescriber or Care Manager to multiple patients simultaneously from the patient grid. Using the existing multiselect functionality, users can now select multiple patients and apply care manager assignments in a single operation, eliminating the need to update each patient individually through demographic records. This enhancement significantly reduces administrative time for care team restructuring and patient roster management.
User Experience & Interface Improvements
Gift Card Limit Warnings: Enhanced gift card interface now displays clear limit warnings and information throughout the patient web experience, mirroring the existing mobile experience. A permanent information area has been standardized to prevent confusion about gift card availability and limitations, ensuring consistent user experience across platforms.
🔮 Coming Soon
Expected in the next 1-2 releases (within 4 weeks)
Scheduled Assessment Automation with SIU Integration
Overview: NeuroFlow will soon support automated assessment scheduling triggered by appointment data via scheduling feed through your EHR. This enhancement enables healthcare organizations to automatically assign assessments based on upcoming patient appointments, eliminating manual scheduling overhead and ensuring consistent measurement-based care protocols.
Key Capabilities:
Appointment Data Ingestion: Automatically receive and process schedule feeds from EHR systems via Redox
Scheduled Assessment Assignment: Configure automated workflows to assign specific assessments at designated times relative to appointments (e.g., assign PHQ-9 3 days before appointment)
Workflow Automation Engine: Leverage modular workflow system to support date-based triggering of assessment assignments
Integration Requirements:
Requires Redox integration with SIU event transmission enabled in your EHR system
Initial implementation focuses on assessment assignment; future phases will expand to support tag assignment and content delivery
Workflow configuration and SIU event routing will initially require technical support for setup
Important Notes:
This initial release establishes foundational appointment data infrastructure
Administrative interface for workflow management will be enhanced in future releases
Organizations should begin discussions with EHR teams about SIU integration capabilities to prepare for implementation
Preferred Name Support
Overview: Patient profiles will soon include a "Preferred Name" field, enabling care managers to document and use the name patients actually go by, separate from their legal EHR-matching first and last names. Shows on Patient Detail screen and has new Field within Edit Client.
Key Benefit:
This feature empowers care teams to build stronger therapeutic relationships by addressing patients with the names they actually use, fostering trust and demonstrating respect from the very first interaction.
Eligibility File Language Field
Overview: A new "Language" column will be added to eligibility file processing, enabling automated language preference setup for patient communication and app experience based on eligibility data.
Key Capabilities:
Process language preference from eligibility file imports
Automatically preset app language to Spanish for patients with Spanish language preference
Support language-specific communication workflows, including Spanish-language emails
Important Notes:
Patients can manually change their language preference after initial setup
Organizations should coordinate with account mangers to ensure language is included in your future eligibility, it is not required field.
