🚀 Major Features & Enhancements
Assessment Library Expansion
BFS-Youth (Behavior and Feeling Survey)
The BFS-Youth is now available in the NeuroFlow assessment library. This 12-item brief rating scale assesses both internalizing problems (anxiety, depression) and externalizing problems (behavior, conduct) in youth ages 7–15. It is designed for screening, ongoing progress monitoring, and informing care decisions over time—making it well-suited for pediatric behavioral health programs.
PSC (Pediatric Symptom Checklist)
The Pediatric Symptom Checklist (PSC) is now available in the assessment library. This 37-item parent-report screening questionnaire is designed for children ages 6–17, covering a broad range of emotional and behavioral areas including attention difficulties, externalizing problems, and internalizing problems. The PSC provides assessment of psychosocial functioning and is useful for case planning, tracking changes, and outcomes monitoring.
SCARED-C (Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders — Child Version)
The SCARED-C is now available in the assessment library. A widely validated screening tool for assessing anxiety symptoms in children, the SCARED-C is commonly used for screening anxiety disorders, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and research on childhood anxiety across clinical, school, and research settings.
Patient Management Enhancements
Program Visibility on Patient Detail
The patient detail page now surfaces active program enrollment more prominently, displaying the program name, provider, and enrollment start date between the Diagnosis and Care Team sections. Care teams can immediately see which Custom Program or standard program a patient is in without navigating away from the patient record. An expansion option is available when a patient has multiple active programs.
Patient Suspension Email Notification
Patients will now automatically receive an email notification when their Onward access is suspended by a provider. The email informs patients that their access has been removed—typically upon care completion—and directs them to contact their provider if they believe the suspension was made in error. This notification is triggered across all suspension pathways within the platform.
Workflow & Communication Improvements
Separated Invite and Consent Controls for Message Channels
The Add Client and Edit Client forms have been updated to separate communication consent from invitation delivery into two distinct controls. Previously, toggling a communication channel (such as SMS) simultaneously recorded patient consent and triggered an immediate invite—creating ambiguity for users. Consent and invitation options are now independent, giving providers clearer control over when a patient is invited versus when their communication preferences are recorded.

Expected in the next 1–2 releases (within 4 weeks)
Assessment Due & Overdue Notifications on Client Grid
Overview: Clinicians will soon see at-a-glance indicators on the patient/client grid identifying which patients have assessments that are due or overdue, enabling proactive care management without opening individual patient records.
Key Capabilities:
New notification indicator on the Client Grid for assessments due and/or overdue, based on assigned due dates. Pop-up provides additional context on which assessments are affected, with option to administer on-behalf of or remind the patient.
Notification sorting & filter updated to surface patients with alerts, including due/overdue assessments
Appears on Patient detail in the Notification list and Activity table
Assessment due/overdue notifications cannot be manually dismissed, but are cleared at assessment completion or if still overdue after 7 days (automatically marked skipped).
Important Notes:
Designed to support in-person administration workflows where providers need to identify which assessments to collect at or before upcoming appointments in alignment with clinically recommended timelines.
Custom Assessment Delivery Cadence
Overview: Administrators will soon be able to schedule repeating assessments and template content on custom day intervals—for example, every 4 days or every 10 days—rather than being limited to standard weekly or monthly cadences.
Key Capabilities:
New "Repeats custom" option in Template Creation > Repeating for questionnaires and other repeating content
Configurable interval selector in days, up to a maximum of 365
Custom cadence reflected across all relevant UI locations, including Program Creation Modal and Assessment views
