Caregiver Flows: Assessment Delivery for Contacts & Proxy Respondents
NeuroFlow's Caregiver Flows capability expands how assessments can be delivered — beyond the patient — to the people who support them.
This feature enables two important clinical scenarios:
Collateral Informant Assessments — Certain assessments are designed to capture input from a parent, guardian, or teacher rather than the patient themselves (e.g., SCARED-P, VADTRS for ADHD). These are automatically routed to the appropriate Contact based on their role/relationship to the patient.
Proxy Assessments — For patients below an organization's minimum age threshold, assessments can be sent to a designated parent or guardian to complete on the child's behalf. Age-range guardrails enforce this routing automatically, ensuring age-appropriate assessments always reach the right recipient.
In both cases, the Contact receives the assessment link via SMS or email, completes it through the standard web experience, and results are recorded directly in the patient's Manage profile — with clear attribution showing who completed the assessment.
The capability remains behind a feature flag; organizations interested in broader enablement should reach out to their Customer Success Manager.
Progress & Graphing UI/UX Uplift
A refresh of the Progress and Graphing area for better readability, easier trend discovery, and a more flexible format that works for adolescent and other populations beyond primary PHQ/GAD workflows. This includes an easy-view card to the left of the assessment graph highlighting key information about a patient's most recent response for each questionnaire type, making it faster to review current status at a glance.
The Severity Score graph, Tracker, and Steps views are being consolidated and redesigned to prioritize assessment review: making it easier to understand a patient's progress at a glance.
Pediatric & Adolescent Assessments
CATS-S-Progress (Child and Adolescent Trauma Screen – Self-Report – Progress): NeuroFlow is adding the CATS-S-Progress, a 25-item self-report tool designed to monitor PTSD symptom severity over time in youth ages 7–17. Clinicians will be able to assign this follow-up measure to track DSM-5 PTSD symptom changes, treatment progress, and outcomes — without relying on it as a standalone diagnostic tool.
CPSS-5-SR (Child PTSD Symptom Scale for DSM-5 – Self-Report): The CPSS-5-SR is a 27-item youth self-report measure that screens for trauma exposure and assesses PTSD symptom severity across four DSM-5 clusters (re-experiencing, avoidance, negative cognitions/mood, and arousal) over the past month. It supports initial PTSD assessment, referrals, treatment planning, and ongoing symptom monitoring.
CMRS-P (Child Mania Rating Scale – Parent): The CMRS-P is a 21-item parent-report measure that screens for possible mania symptoms in youth over the past month. Clinicians can use it to screen, assess, and monitor mood and behaviors related to mania, informing further evaluation, referrals, and treatment planning.
APA-NM-ASSIST-C (APA NIDA Modified Alcohol, Smoking and Substance Involvement Screening Test – Child/Adolescent): This 15-item self-report screening tool assesses substance use behavior over the past two weeks across alcohol/tobacco, prescription medication, and illicit drugs in children and adolescents. It supports complexity/severity assessment, referrals, routine monitoring, and outcomes tracking.
Therapeutic Alliance
WAI-SR (Working Alliance Inventory – Short Revised): The WAI-SR is a 12-item self-report measure of therapy alliance that helps assess the client's perceived quality of their therapeutic relationship with the therapist across key alliance factors. It supports monitoring of therapy engagement, treatment progress, and outcomes.
