Duplicate Patient Detection at Enrollment
When adding a patient manually, providers will soon be warned if a potential duplicate already exists in the system - before the record is saved. The system checks for matches by last name, date of birth, and other key fields, then presents a clear modal giving providers the choice to redirect to the existing record or proceed with a new one.
Important Notes:
Applies to manual patient creation only
Providers can override the warning and create a new record when clinically appropriate
