Enhanced Security & Access Management
SSO Bypass Prevention: New security enhancements prevent users from bypassing Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication through the standard password reset flow. When SSO-enabled users attempt password reset, they now receive an email containing their organization's SSO portal link instead of password reset credentials. This enhancement maintains organizational security policies while ensuring users can access their accounts through the proper authentication channels.
Enhanced Content Discovery
Spanish Journey Discovery: We added a new Spanish Journeys category with over 30 Spanish journeys, enabling Spanish-speaking users to access health resources without requiring individual assignment. This new category will default to “off” on the Journey Gallery Configuration page, and can be easily toggled on, as requested. Once toggled on, the Spanish-language journeys will be accessible in the Discover tab's Journey Gallery of the Onward application. Note: These journeys can still continue to be assigned through Manage as before.
Improved Patient Management & Personalization
Preferred Name Support: Patient profiles now include a "Preferred Name" field in the Edit Client side panel, enabling care managers to document and use the name patients actually go by, separate from their legal EHR-matching first and last names. The preferred name displays on the Patient Detail screen in the format "FIRST (Preferred) LAST" when populated. This feature empowers care teams to build stronger therapeutic relationships by addressing patients with the names they actually use, fostering trust and demonstrating respect from the very first interaction. In an end of 2025 release, patient communications will use this name.
Eligibility File Language Preference: A new optional "Language" column in eligibility file processing enables automated language preference setup for patient communication and app experience. The system processes language preferences from eligibility file imports, automatically presets app language to Spanish for patients with Spanish language preference, and supports language-specific communication workflows including Spanish-language emails. Patients can manually change their language preference after initial setup. Organizations should coordinate with account managers to ensure language is included in future eligibility files, though it is not a required field.

Scheduled Assessment Automation with SIU Integration
Overview: NeuroFlow will soon support automated assessment scheduling triggered by appointment data via scheduling feed through your EHR. This enhancement enables healthcare organizations to automatically assign assessments based on upcoming patient appointments, eliminating manual scheduling overhead and ensuring consistent measurement-based care protocols.
Key Capabilities:
Appointment Data Ingestion: Automatically receive and process schedule feeds from EHR systems via Redox
Scheduled Assessment Assignment: Configure automated workflows to assign specific assessments at designated times relative to appointments (e.g., assign PHQ-9 3 days before appointment)
Workflow Automation Engine: Leverage modular workflow system to support date-based triggering of assessment assignments
Integration Requirements:
Requires Redox integration with SIU event transmission enabled in your EHR system
Initial implementation focuses on assessment assignment; future phases will expand to support tag assignment and content delivery
Workflow configuration and SIU event routing will initially require technical support for setup
Important Notes:
This initial release establishes foundational appointment data infrastructure
Administrative interface for workflow management will be enhanced in future releases
Organizations should begin discussions with EHR teams about SIU integration capabilities to prepare for implementation
