🚀 Major Features & Enhancements
Expanded Assessment Library
OCI-R (Obsessive Compulsive Inventory - Revised): New 18-item clinical assessment now available in the assessment library for screening, monitoring, and measuring the frequency, severity, and distress associated with OCD symptoms. The OCI-R assesses common obsession and compulsion types, providing actionable clinical data to guide treatment decisions and track patient progress over time.

Assessment Due/Overdue Notifications on Patient Grid
Overview: Care teams will soon have enhanced visibility into assessment completion status directly from the patient grid. A new notification system will clearly identify which patients have assigned assessments that are due or overdue, enabling clinicians to quickly prioritize in-person administration or follow-up actions. This enhancement addresses the common workflow need to track assessment collection around clinical visit schedules and recommended measurement cadences.
Key Capabilities:
Visual indicators on the patient grid showing assessment due/overdue status
Quick identification of patients requiring assessment administration
Improved workflow efficiency for managing assessment collection timing
Support for coordinating assessment completion with clinical appointments
Important Notes:
This feature helps clinicians prioritize which patients need assessment follow-up
Most useful for planning in-person assessment administration during scheduled visits
Assessment due dates are based on assignment timing and clinical cadence requirements
Will deploy to Customers soon, with more details and screenshots!
Program Visibility on Patient Detail
Overview: Patient program enrollment will become more visible directly on the Patient Detail page, allowing providers to see at a glance what program a patient is enrolled in without navigating to additional screens. Active program information will be displayed prominently between the Diagnosis and Care Team sections.
Key Capabilities:
Active program name and provider displayed directly on the Patient Detail page
Active treatment start date visible at a glance
"More" expansion option for additional program details
Supports both custom and standard program types
Improved Consent & Invitation Management
Overview: The patient creation and editing workflow will be updated to separate consent and invitation into distinct actions. Currently, toggling communication channels (such as SMS) simultaneously records consent and triggers an invitation. The updated design introduces separate controls so that recording a patient's consent to receive messages is independent from sending the actual invitation, providing greater flexibility and accuracy in patient onboarding workflows.
Key Capabilities:
Separate consent checkbox and invitation trigger in the Add Client form
Ability to record consent without automatically sending an invitation
Updated Edit Client form with consistent consent management
Important Notes:
This change applies (differently) to both new patient creation and existing patient editing workflows
Part of the broader Custom Program Management enhancements
New Clinical Assessment Tools
Overview: Five new validated clinical assessments will be added to the assessment library, expanding screening and monitoring capabilities across pediatric, eating disorder, and anxiety domains.
Upcoming Assessments:
BFS-Youth (Behavior and Feeling Survey): A brief 12-item rating scale assessing internalizing (anxiety, depression) and externalizing (behavior, conduct) problems in youth ages 7-15. Designed for screening, weekly progress monitoring, tracking change over time, and informing care decisions.
SCARED-C (Screen for Child Anxiety Related Emotional Disorders - Child): A widely validated screening tool for assessing anxiety symptoms in children, commonly used for screening anxiety disorders, treatment planning, progress monitoring, and research on childhood anxiety across clinical, school, and research settings.
PACS (Penn Alcohol Craving Scale): A 5-item self-report measure assessing frequency, intensity, and duration of alcohol craving, and ability to resist drinking over the previous week. The PACS can help practitioners gauge severity of cravings related to drinking, and be used to monitor treatment changes, outcomes, and relapse risk.
PSC (Pediatric Symptom Checklist): A 37-item parent-report screening questionnaire designed for children ages 6-17. Covers a broad range of emotional and behavioral areas, including attention difficulties, externalizing, and internalizing problems. The PSC provides assessment of psychosocial functioning and is useful for case planning, tracking changes, and outcomes.
EAT-26 (Eating Attitudes Test): A 32-item brief version of the original 40-item EAT measure for adolescents and adults, with 26 items assessing symptoms of eating disorders and related problems, and 6 additional questions assessing problematic eating behaviors in the past six months. The EAT-26 is one of the most widely used screening tools for identifying individuals who may warrant further evaluation for eating disorder symptoms.
